Be ready for Fall with one of our favorite Stephen West patterns. Pile up your stash because we’re casting on this colorful, crazy, and squishy statement piece and guiding you through the pattern over the course of 8 classes! Penguono lets you play with color, texture, and shapes in this surprisingly easy to knit and easy to wear sweater/kimono/jacket. Bonus, it can be worn two different ways. The class will cover shaping, yarn choice, pairing yarns, gauge, picking up stitches, and finishing. Penguono is the perfect project to use up those odds and ends of yarn that you have lying around. We are so excited to see everyones variations!
Intarsia knitting is a mystifying technique of using different colors that is very different than stranded knitting. In Intarsia knitting, you are never knitting with more than 1 color at a time because different pieces of yarn are used to knit separate blocks of color. Pam is a huge fan of intarsia and wrote this shawl pattern for her students to master the technique. You’ll be ready to pop color into anything!
We’ve assembled a series of 3 introductory crochet classes that will make you comfortable with a crochet hook. We begin with practicing the stitches, then move on to various projects with different stitches and techniques. By the end of the classes, you’ll be ready to chain for your next project.
It’s Christmas in July! We’ve assembled a wonderful collection of fair isle designs and charts for you to customize the perfect stocking. You’ll master the technique of stranded knitting as well learn the simplicity of the “afterthought heel”.
BEGINNER BOOT CAMP is a series of 5 introductory classes that guide you from start to finish through 3 projects, each building in difficulty and adding new skills and techniques upon the last.
By the end of the 5 classes you will be knitting like a pro and will have completed a cowl, a hat and a pair of fingerless gloves.
This lightweight shawl makes the perfect accessory this time of year. The stitch pattern looks complex but is actually deceptively simple. A blast to make, it includes dropped stitches. Why is it so fun to intentionally do something that you are always trying to avoid?
Textured patterns inspired by traditional fishermen’s sweaters adorn this simple and practical Guernsey Wrap. The knitting is straightforward but accessible to the adventurous beginner. In this class you will learn how to read a chart and combine knits and purls to create a bunch of beautiful stitch patterns.
