We’ve assembled a series of 3 introductory crochet classes that will make you comfortable with a crochet hook. We begin with practicing the stitches, then move on to various projects with different stitches and techniques. By the end of the classes, you’ll be ready to chain for your next project.


Sunday, March 22
3 – 5 pm

The game here is a bit of slip stitchery, where you never knit with more than one color of yarn per round, yet you end up with a cacophony of color.  Learn how easy slipped stitch patterns can be! With a pattern written in six sizes, this is a hat for all generations, from grandbaby to grandmama.


Monday, March 23rd

10:00 am – Noon


Papillon (butterfly) is a beautiful shawl that uses a unique combination of garter stitch and short rows. This can be made in fingering, DK or worsted weight yarn using two to six colors. Each shawl will be your own, creative design.


Tuesday, March 24th

5:30 – 7:30 pm


Join us for an evening of fun making and decorating felted eggs. They’re great for the basket or any Spring decor!

BEGINNER BOOT CAMP is a series of 5 introductory classes that guide you from start to finish through 3 projects, each building in difficulty and adding new skills and techniques upon the last. By the end of the 5 classes you will be knitting like a pro and will have completed a cowl, a hat and a pair of fingerless gloves.

This scarf brings 3 simple concepts together into a more interesting, but easy scarf. Stripes provide color contrast; shaping bends the stripes into chevron patterns; and the final addition of short rows changes the thickness of each stripe.

For the Spring edition of our Hat for all Seasons series we have chosen this lightweight cap.  The pattern includes a whimsical motif of birds nestled together on branches.


Tuesday, April 7th

5:30 – 7:30 pm


Become a more confident, capable knitter as you learn to recognize and remedy any knitting mistake you make. You will never look at a dropped stitch the same way!



April 18th, May 9th and May 23rd

There’s nothing like a pair of hand knit socks, but making a pair can seem daunting. In this class you’ll be guided through every step (hehe)so you can see what the obsession is all about!

If you are a yarn lover, rigid heddle weaving may be the best thing yet for quickly using up stash in a new way! Cricket Looms are easy to transport and simple to decipher. They work with a variety of different yarns, so possibilities of colors and patterns are endless. In this 2 part class, we’ll cover all the basics and get you weaving on your own. Looms for class are available for purchase.


Sunday, May 3rd
3 – 5 pm

The gentle color work motif body of this hat is framed with two Latvian braids, which serves both as a decorative and fabric stabilizing feature. Latvian braid Iooks tricky – but is so simple once you learn the technique!


Sunday, June 7
3 – 5 pm

Learn the secret of cables – they’re so simple yet so dramatic!  These beautiful hand warmers are a wonderful practice of the technique.

Bring whatever you are working on to sit and chat with a fun group of fellow knitters. Instructors are on hand to answer any questions.
$10 a class or $50 for a 6 class pass

Payment in advance reserves your space in class. Class fees are non-refundable. You may cancel your registration up to 2 days prior to class in order to receive a store credit-no refunds will be issued. When you sign up for a class we make a commitment to our teacher for that specific class-therefore we are unable to transfer you from one class to another. We do not offer make up classes or reimburse for classes that you miss. Classes with less than 3 students or bad weather conditions will be cancelled and payment will be fully refunded or a new class will be rescheduled. Thank you for your support and understanding!
